Time Machine Question

I was just thinking about this. Let’s say I wanted to travel back to, just to name a historical event for the sake of the question, 9/11/01 in NYC. Would I end up IN New York City, or would I just be in San Antonio in 2001? I guess I’m asking if time machines cover space as well as time. Would I be on the hook for finding a way to get where I want to be as soon as I get back in time? Anyone know?

Based on my extensive research, watching all three “Back to the Future” movies multiple times, Time travel only covers time not space. You will land in the same space in which you left in any time travel machine. I must add the Flux Capacitor is the greatest invention of all time.

Well that doesn’t help me at all, then.
